About Us
Our bed & breakfast began as a passion project, uniting our love of entertaining, building treehouses, and sharing the magic of the forest with others. We took our cues from nature, with the trees on this property directing our builds and how each treehouse would nestle into the canopy. And we took our time, growing Treehouse Point intentionally, until we completed our final build in 2021— the ADA-accessible treehouse, Ananda.
As parents, we are proud to work alongside our adult children—Emily, Henry, and Charlie—in our family business, Nelson Treehouse. We design and build treehouses all over the world and supply specialized treehouse hardware and plans for DIYers. We are honored to invite people to safely experience the magic of being in a treehouse and reconnecting with nature. It is our hope that you will become attuned to subtle movements of the canopy, listen to the sounds of forest creatures, take deep breaths of clean air, and find joy in nature.
Trees and the forests are essential to our spirits and to all beings’ continued existence on this planet. Being in a tree, if only for a night or two, is a magical way to fully experience yourself as a part of nature, not a separate entity.
