The Treehouses
-
Our Inaugural Treehouse with a River View
The Temple of the Blue Moon was the first treehouse on the property. In designing the Temple, Pete Nelson was inspired by the classic lines of the Parthenon. An elegant bridge leads across a slope to the front door. Inside, walls lined with windows provide sweeping views of the forest and nearby river. The interior features two classic reading chairs, a writing desk, bookcase, handcrafted armoire, and a custom-built queen-size bed. The Temple also has a private balcony where you can soak in the sounds of the river. A small bathroom with a water flush toilet is just outside the door.
-
Tall and Grand with a Forest View
The Trillium roosts sixteen feet high in a tremendous cedar tree. The first floor of this two-story treehouse is a cozy sitting room with two armchairs in which to nestle and gaze out into the forest. Soaring walls of windows (with a total of eighty panes) let in plenty of soft, natural light. A ship’s ladder leads to the sleeping loft, which holds a queen bed and, behind a curtain, a toilet and sink, and offers another sublime view into the forest canopy.
-
Modern and Luxurious with a Canopy View
Ananda, completed in 2021, is the first-ever ADA-accessible commercial treehouse. Supported by two beautiful Douglas firs, Ananda features floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the Raging River. It’s luxuriously appointed with stunning fir floors and walls, a fully plumbed half bath, a king bed, and a gas fireplace. Ananda is perfectly situated along the edge of the property for maximum privacy.
-
Charming and Private with a Canopy View
The Burl curls around the trunk of a magnificent fir that soars nearly 200 feet from the forest floor. A long, rigid bridge provides access to this two-story treehouse. Inside, plentiful windows and a private balcony grant sweeping views of the canopy. On the first floor, two armchairs and a built-in countertop make for a cozy hangout zone. A ladder leads to the bedroom loft, which holds a queen bed and a fully plumbed bathroom with a sink and toilet.
-
Rustic and Classic with a Pond and Forest View
The Upper Pond treehouse looks like something from the pages of a fairytale. At 170 square feet, it’s spacious, perfect for families with children (16 years and older) or for a getaway with friends. Two lofted single beds and one queen provide ample room to stretch out and relax. A private room inside the treehouse holds a compostable toilet. The treehouse features a large deck with stellar views of the property’s tranquil ponds.
-
Ultra-Cozy with a Pond View
The Nest is an ultra-cozy retreat, the tiniest of our treehouses. Tucked in soaring cedar and spruce trees, the Nest holds a queen-size bed, two reading chairs, and a wide window wall. The interior space is extended by the deck, which offers views of the Upper Pond treehouse and the property’s peaceful ponds. For those who love the sound of raindrops, the Nest’s roof has the best rainfall acoustics at Treehouse Point.
-
Twisting and Climbing with a Forest View
Nestled at the heart of the property, the cozy Bonbibi is secured to a healthy Western red cedar. A curved staircase with natural cedar branch railings climbs gently to the front door, which opens on cedar walls, finished with a high shine. Inside, a queen bed awaits. Large windows and a covered deck afford ample opportunity for admiring the forest year-round.
